SHUNTING, The Rexon RL328S carries on from the RL328E with fully compliant shunting safety tones as standard, The RL328S has suffcient spacing between its side mounted function buttons to ensure that the function button nominated for that function is not accidentaly pushed or missed. The shunting tones are exactly as prescibed by H&SE and various railway network operators.
AUTO ON/OFF SIGNAL, The RL328s will send a 5 tone signal on switch off and switch on allowing the radio to auto log on to and off a computerised system.
Massive 2000Mah Split Load Battery, Carried over from the RL328E and EX, in almost 2 years we have not had one battery fail through normal end user use, this includes users who are charging the battery up to 2 times per day. Although the official life on a 5/5/90 duty cycle is 15 hours plus we regularly have users reporting 24 hours or longer.
